Back on 15th July 2021, Council were thrilled to announce on Facebook that we had been successful in being awarded a grant by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council for this project.

Garden waste collections (brown lidded bin) in Hinckley and Bosworth are to be suspended for one week as a result of rising numbers of waste drivers and crew told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace and the national shortage of HGV driver's.
The garden waste service will be suspended from tomorrow Friday 23 July to Friday 30 July inclusive.

It is with great pleasure that the Parish Council announce they have been successful in gaining a grant from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council via their Parish Initiative Fund, to purchase adult outdoor gym equipment for Dragon Lane Recreation Ground.
Tenders have already been sought for this project and a supplier chosen, with the equipment due to be installed in late Summer / early Autumn.

The recycling and household waste site at Bottesford is to reopen this week, having been closed for maintenance work.
The Normanton Lane site was closed in January so that drainage work could be carried out, but is to reopen on Thursday March 11 – a month earlier than expected.
