Avian Flu
Following an increase in the number of detections of avian influenza (bird flu) in wild birds and on commercial premises, the Chief Veterinary Officers from England, Scotland and Wales have declared an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) across Great Britain to mitigate the risk of the disease spreading amongst poultry and captive birds.

New 3G All Weather Pitch
The all weather ground re-surfacing has now been completed and is ready for hire.
The brand new 3G football pitch is fully floodlit and looking fantastic and costs £20 per hour to hire.

Newbold Verdon Parish Council now have 3 casual vacancies.
If you are aged 18 years or over, have lived or worked in the parish (or within 3 miles of the parish boundary) for 12 months or more, you are eligible to apply.

Annual Parish Meeting
This year, we will be holding the Annual Parish Meeting in person at the community pavilion on Alans Way.
All residents are welcome to attend and it commences at 7pm on Monday 16th May, including light refreshments.
