Newbold Verdon Parish Council

Since moving to Newbold Verdon nearly 3 years ago, my wife and I found the village extremely welcoming. The village has offered us a spectrum of opportunities and new experiences which have been particularly enjoyable.

Some months ago I found out that the council had some plans which would have an impact on where I live. I went to a council meeting to find out what the plans were and what I could expect from their implementation. I asked a few pertinent questions, maybe raised a few eyebrows! then surprisingly was invited to join the council.

I want to make sure where possible that new projects that are being planned for the improvement of the village, and there are quite a few; do not impact unfairly or surprisingly on residents without suitable and proper notification and dialogue being made.
